Return & Warranty Information


General

            RMA numbers will be issued for defective items only.  All defective products must be returned in their original packaging (except HP returns to the manufacturer) complete with all options, accessories, and software.  If the unit is missing parts, the customer will be contacted to return them.  If parts are not returned the customer will be charged a missing part fee for what it costs to replace them. 

            RMA numbers are only open for 7 days.


HP & Compaq

            Refurbished HP & Compaq products come with a 90 day warranty.  If you receive a defective unit, fill out the RMA request form and send it to us.  We will have HP send a box directly to you for the defective unit.  Once you receive the box, put the defective unit in it and ship it back to HP using the enclosed label.  HP will return the unit to you once it is repaired.

            New HP & Compaq products come with a 1 year warranty through the manufacturer.

 

Acer & Gateway

            Refurbished Acer and Gateway products come with a 90 day warranty.  If you receive a defective unit, fill out the RMA request form and send it to us.  We will provide an exchange when possible.  In-house credit will be issued when an exchange is not available.  Shipping will be paid by the shipper.  Action International Marketing will pay for the shipping of the replacement unit.

            If the defective unit is out of warranty for Action International Marketing, but still in warranty for the customer, the customer will be directed to contact Liquidity Services (Acer’s authorized refurbisher) directly.

            New Acer & Gateway products come with a 1 year warranty through the manufacturer.

 

Warranties for all other manufacturers will depend on the item.
